Tom and Debbie Egidio have been working together since they first met in 1998.   Representing separate businesses at the time, their career paths soon melded, first through the combined promotion of their Chamber of Commerce and tourism bureau, then to project management and marketing of land development projects, to the inception of their own consulting business in 2005.  Since they first began working together they found a mutual enthusiasm for professional challenges and creative thinking.  Their open minded approach to problem solving and achieving positive results for their clients through relationship building, public outreach and marketing have positioned them as leaders in their industry.

Prior to founding DTS, Tom was the Community Development Manager for Triad Communities where he performed both political and community outreach for the company's development projects.  He was also the Project Manager for the controversial Lagoon Valley project in Vacaville, California.  Tom led this 1,025-home master planned community and golf course through its first approval, the defeat of a referendum against the project, the settlement of a lawsuit against the project by the Greenbelt Alliance (a bay area environmental group), and a second approval of the revised project.  Quite a feat.  Tom also brings a working knowledge of union contract negotiations and a current California real estate broker's license to the DTS team.

Tom was the President and CEO of the Vallejo Chamber of Commerce from 1996 to 2003.  In addition to running the Chamber, Tom's position also included the management of the Vallejo Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Solano County Film Office.  Tom was responsible for the complete operations of all three organizations including governmental relations, marketing, public relations, membership development, and special events.  He also worked actively with the City of Vallejo and other prominent community organizations to develop mutually beneficial partnerships and procure funding on an annual basis from a combination of city government, membership and cooperative marketing sources.

From 1972 to 1996, Tom was the President and Owner of Century 21 Egidio Realty, Inc. where he was the owner and broker of four separate Century 21 Realty offices employing 78 real estate agents.  These offices were recognized as a leader in the real estate industry, receiving recognition and numerous awards for excellence in service and productivity.

Tom has been a member of the boards of several community organizations, and has served as the Chairman of the Vallejo Chamber of Commerce, the Vallejo CVB and the Solano Association of Realtors.  Tom has served on the Vallejo Planning Commission, the Vallejo Waterfront Review Committee, the Vallejo Economic Vision Steering Committee, has traveled with the annual Mayor's delegation to Washington D.C., and has completed the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Institute for Organizational Management.

Debbie Egidio

Before co-founding DTS with Tom, Debbie was also employed with Triad Communities as their Marketing Director.  In this role she had the opportunity to be involved with several of the company's projects, providing marketing and public outreach input and oversight.  She was heavily involved in the outreach efforts that successfully achieved the approval of the Lagoon Valley project which incorporated the production of newsletters, mass mailers, newspaper advertising, a campaign web site, and community presentations.  Debbie was also the project manager for Triad's rehabilitation of the historic Empress Theatre in downtown Vallejo, a $3 million redevelopment project involving an intricate partnership between Triad, the City of Vallejo and the Vallejo Community Arts Foundation.

Debbie was Director of Marketing for the Vallejo Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) from 1998 to 2003.  As the senior employee of the CVB, Debbie managed the staff and daily operations of the organization while also developing and implementing an annual marketing plan and budget of $500,000.  Her direction guided all of the CVB's activities including trade show and conference attendance, advertising, public relations, member programs, visitor services and development of all promotional media and publications.

Prior to joining the CVB, Debbie worked in the marketing department of Six Flags Marine World (now Six Flags Discovery Kingdom) as an Account Manager.  During the five years she was employed at Marine World, Debbie sold and managed youth events, corporate functions, and tour and travel groups, consistently exceeding attendance and revenue goals.  Debbie has also worked as an Account Manager for two Sacramento area newspapers, providing her with advertising design and planning experience from both the client's and publication's viewpoints.

Debbie graduated with a B.S. in Agricultural and Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.  She has been actively involved in many community and industry organizations throughout her career, completed the Certified Tour Professional Program of the National Tour Association, completed the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Institute for Organizational Management, and currently serves as the President/CEO of the Vacaville Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Vacaville Chamber Educational Foundation.
